Neet Cutoff

NEET cut off refers to the minimum qualifying marks required to be eligible for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. The NEET cut off marks vary each year and depend on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appeared, and the number of seats available.

The NEET cut off is released separately for each category – General, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD. The cut off marks are determined based on the percentile score obtained by candidates. The percentile score represents the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below a particular score.

The NEET cut off for the year 2022 is yet to be announced. It is expected that the cut off marks for the General category may be around 145-150 out of 720 marks, which translates to a percentile score of 50th. For OBC, SC, ST, and PwD categories, the cut off may be slightly lower than the General category.

However, it is important to note that the NEET cut off marks vary each year, and candidates should aim to score higher marks to increase their chances of securing a seat in their preferred medical or dental college.
